Knights in Action
James D. Hart Council 9673, St. Mary Catholic Church Woolmarket, hosted its quarterly Fall Bingo at the Prime of Life Senior Center in Woolmarket The Bingo featured non-monetary game prizes as well as door prizes. 97 seniors attended for a morning of fun and comraderie.
In December, Bishop Gunn Council #1583, Gulfport, distributed over 100 new coats at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Coats for Kids as been a part of the Knights Community Service Program for over 25 years and has provided over 1 million coats to children in every U.S. state and 10 Canadian provinces.
Council 14051, Olive Branch, supported the Special Olympics competition in Area 16, Marshall County, on January 17. Brother Jeff Bell, with the Council has been a longtime supporter of Special Olympics.
