Knights in Action
Knights of Columbus St. John Council 10901, Oxford, donated $30,000 to provide an updated ultrasound machine for the Oxford Pregnancy Center. Knights of Columbus Supreme contributed the balance of the $59,243 needed to purchase the machine. On November 13, Fr. Mark Shoffner, St. John's Catholic Church, offered a blessing for the work of the Pregnancy Center with the ultrasound equipment.
Vicksburg Council 898 and Assembly 558 held their annual drawdown on October 11. The Fred Ferrel family, a strong supporter of the Knights, was the big winner. The Council and Assembly are grateful to the community for buying tickets. The event funds community projects of the Council and Assembly.
Council 14051 and Assembly 3081, Olive Branch, held a Silver Rose Service on October 2 at Queen of Peace Church. Assembly 3081 provided an Honor Guard.
